"Oh dear brother," the voice called again.  The sound slowly swirling around the trees and falling upon the ears it was in dire need to assault.
"Who is that?"  (f/n) asked, as the tall, but fearful looking Russian sat her down.  (f/n) could feel the fear in Ivan and promptly hid behind him.
"Brother," out from the trees stepped a women with blond hair and big blue eyes that glared down at the small child that hid behind Ivan's legs, peeking out at her, "who is that?" Her voice was like venom from the deadliest snake, lifting a long finger at the little girl, who's eyes widened at her.
"This is (f/n),"  Ivan gulped, resting a gentle hand top of the child's head, "I...found her."
"You're very pretty," (f/n)'s small voice peeped, "I like the bow in your hair."
She huffed and crossed her arms, not letting her face soften, "why did you not call me?  But you called our sister?" She pursed her lips tight, snorting air from her nose.  She acted like a bull ready to charge if provoked anymore.
"I didn't want to bother you," Ivan looked towards the house, trying to plan his escape route with (f/n).  But Belarus was blocking most anyway to safety.
"What is your name?"  (f/n) spoke up again at the women who still gave a longing look to her brother.
"Natalya," she grunted.
"That name is also pretty," (f/n) smiled, walking from the safety of Ivan, "you're Ivan's sister then?"
"Yes, what a stupid question," Natalya rolled her eyes again, staring at the small, but brave girl in front of her.  She praised the bravely of this child in her head, but would not let it show.  "It's cold out here.  Let's go in the house," she started for the house where most of the lights started to click on, "you may come too...what was your name again?" She glanced back at the girl that divided her from her brother by a few steps.
"(f/n)," she smiled, dashing closer to her, "would you like to go see my new room?"  She asked, grabbing at Natalya's glove hand.  To Ivan's surprise Natalya didn't pull her hand away and hiss at the child like he thought she would. She allowed herself to be dragged into the house and up to the little girl's room.
And much to Natalya's dismay the little girl hung on tight to her.  Asking her any question that popped into her head.  And Natalya being herself, didn't sugar coat the answers she gave (f/n).  Her bluntness would have been seem as cruel by some.  But for some unseen reason the child loved it.

"Goodbye Natalya," (f/n) stood at the door and waved to the blond as she started for home.  She turned back and grinned at Ivan, "I like her!"  She giggled, dashing up the stairs to her room.
"Oh good," Ivan muttered, walking towards the den to finish more paperwork.  "Then she have a reason to come over more.  Lucky me."

"Ivan?" (f/n) asked, tapping on his office door, "are you in here?"  She opened the door to the empty office.
"(f/n)?"   Raivis asked, tapping her shoulder, "what are you doing?"
"I was looking for Ivan," she puffed out her red cheeks, "do you know where he went?"
"He had to go over to China's house for something," he smiled, "something very important came up."
"Oh," she sighed, "he said we could go to the market today."
"We can go," he started down the hall, "lets get our jackets and let Toris and Eduard know."
"Maybe they can go too?"  She nodded, excitedly.
After a little convincing from (f/n), Toris and Eduard agreed to go with Raivis and her to the market.  She walked in front of them. She stopped on the cobblestone street and took in the buildings and store fronts.  She peered in the window of a toy shop.
"Can we go in here?"  She asked, looking at the store front window that was decorated for Christmas.  The colorful lights danced around her eyes as she looked with delight from outside.
"Of course we can," Toris took her hand, "but stay close to us.  We won't want to lose you."

She skipped out of the store, smiling to herself as the three boys carried several bags and boxes.  They all hoped, without saying anything to each other that Ivan won't care that they had charged all these toys to Ivan's account.  But they didn't have the heart to tell the girl no for a few toys.  Then a few toys turned into many toys.  Their arms ached as they carried all the items home.  Finally they made it back as (f/n) held the door open to let them.
"We'll bring these up to your room," Toris grinned, giving a thankful sigh that soon the burden of the weight of the toys would be freed from his arms.
"And then we'll start dinner for you," Raivis nodded.
"Then I'll go in the kitchen and wait," she dashed off towards the kitchen, waiting for the three nations.
"She is a good kid," Toris finally made it to her room, sitting her new toys down.  Giving a thankful sigh, he rubbed his sore arms.
"She is very sweet," Eduard agreed, "but we better not keep her waiting to much longer.  Ivan will be home soon, and we'd better have dinner done for him."

"I'm home," Ivan took off his snow caked boots, placing them on the mat in front of the door.  "(f/n)?"
"Ivan!"  She squealed, making a b-line from the kitchen to the Russian man, "you're home!"  She jumped into his outstretched arms and hugged him.  "Guess what?"
"What little sunflower?"  Ivan asked, carrying her to the dining room where dinner was waiting.  Hot steam poured from the fresh made dishes.
"I helped with dinner," she smiled proudly, "I made Russian tea cakes for you."
"Thank you," he gave a small smile, sitting her in the chair, "and what else did you do today?"
"We went shopping," (f/n) started to name off all the things she had bought, "I got some new dolls, books, puzzles, and these little wooden carved animals.  After dinner you can come see them all.  And there is more a lot more then that!"
"More then that?"  He asked, taking a seat at the head of the table, "did you guys go to the market and buy groceries too?"  He had no idea at that moment what she meant by 'a lot'.  But once he got the bill he would know.
She rambled on about to Ivan about their shopping trip and how much fun she had.
~time skip: a few days later~

"Are you ready, (f/n)?"  Toris asked, knocking on the door to her room.
"Almost!"  She yelled back, slipping on her boots, "ready!"  she opened the door and grinned at the men that stood at her door.
"That's good," he smiled, walking down the stairs, followed close behind her.  "Ivan has been waiting for you."
"I can't wait to go the world meeting again," she skipped out the door towards Ivan's car, "are you going to come Toris?"  She grabbed the door handle and turned to face him.
"Not today," Toris shook his head, "I've got a lot of work to do here today."  Thinking to himself the only peace he and other two ever got was when Ivan was at the world meetings.  And not one of them could understand how this girl had not one bit of fear for the big Russian.  She had been living at their home for almost a month.  And Ivan treated her like a little princess.  Buying her anything she wanted or do anything she asked. He hadn't even cared when the bill for all the toys had came. Another confusing sight for the three subordinates that watch their scary superior be twisted around this girl's little finger.  But since she had been bought to the house they had noticed a softer side to him.  And they even found themselves a bit calmer.  But how long can a good thing last?  That was always the question they all asked each other.

"Really?" She smiled at the chatty Finn that had told her all about Christmas, completely ignoring the meeting going on.  "I'm going to ask Ivan if we can have Christmas!"
"It's at the end of this month," Finland smiled, "and Santa will bring you gifts if you're good."
"Toys?"  She was more then ready to propose the idea of this fantastic holiday to Ivan.  She had only heard about it a few times at the orphanage, but they had never celebrated it.  And more toys?  How could she go wrong?
"Are you ready to go?"  Ivan walked up to the bright (e/c) eyed girl and Finnish man.
"Yup," she grabbed his hand and held on tight, "bye Mr. Finland!"  She waved to the blond, but quickly focused back on Ivan.  "Can we have Christmas?"  She asked, without messing a beat.
"Christmas?"  Ivan questioned.
"Mr. Finland told me all about it! We gotta get a tree and gifts.  And then we have a big dinner with everybody!  Can we please?"  She yanked on his hand, stopping him in his tracks.
He glanced back at Finland who was little red from listening to (f/n) go on.  It was his fault that he put Ivan in this predicament.  And he hoped the backlash from the Russian won't be the death of him.
"Of course," he said, taking his eyes off the finicky Finn and back to (f/n).  "We'll start setting up for it when we get home.  Sound good, da?"
This is part three! Yeah, it's kinda short, but I wanted to get something posted and I finally found time today to start posting stuff. And I'll be going on holiday soon, so I don't know if I'll have anytime to post when I'm away. So enjoy!! And the next part will be a Merry Christmas, or will it?
