He’s Right to Six Foot Deep
Struggling, you pushed the front door open, drawing in a deep breath, still shaking from the icy temperatures outside. Pulling off your gloves, that were drenched, your hat and jacket soon followed into a soggy, wet heap onto the floor. Yanking off your boots, you chucked them into the corner, where they rested with the massive pile of other footwear.
“Hello?” you called into the house that was dark, minus a soft, flickering glow from down the hall.
Oh, the things horror movies are made of…
“Well, there’s gotta be someone here, the front door was

She is gone. I let it happen. I always let it happen, so why should I be surprised?
Everyone eventually leaves, so this shouldn’t be a shock. No, not a shock, but certainly painful, nonetheless.
I shifted my weight in the chair that made my lower back burn like a dull fire irritated it. Scanning over the paperwork in my hands, I found my mind didn’t want to focus on the words on the page. I did what I was told to do, not what I wanted to do. Why didn’t she understand that? It was the same for her, wasn’t it? They didn’t give us choices, only orders, and war was a pretty heavy o

“What!? Allistor’s still alive?” Alfred practically screamed. “C’mon, Kat! I feel like I’ve been waiting for the next chapter, since, well, over a month!”
The dagger rested on Antonio’s throat, ready to embed itself deep and true to the mark. The blonde pirate’s eyes glinted, and a smirk formed on his lips, as he explained in detail the death of the Spaniard.
“Don’t touch me!” you demanded, yanking your arm away from the redhead. “Who the heck do you think you are, buddy?” Reaching your hand forward, you pushed the blonde away, knocking the dagger

“Oh, my…” Vlad stood back, looking around at the taxidermy animal heads that gawked from their vantage points. “...Master Igor had different things, didn’t he?”
You only nodded, and Vlad followed you into the kitchen, which was still monster-free as far as you could tell. “I guess,” you finally said, sitting the basket down on the counter. “I really haven’t explored the whole house yet, but what I’ve found has been pretty neat.” You pulled out a white wrapped loaf of bread, and placed it down, along with a brick of cheese. “Wow! This is really nice, Vlad. I

“He’s asleep again?” Lovino muttered, and sharply poked the man that was currently face-down, asleep, on the kitchen table. His arms were sprawled out across the tabletop, and his back was hunched, as he tried not to slip from the chair in his dream state. “It’s one thing to take a nap…”
“And, slowly strum the G chord,” he mumbled, and shifted his weight. “Mmm...just like that.”
“What a freaking weirdo,” Lovino groaned, slapping his forehead. “Some kind of messed up guitar-sex-dream?”
“Now, if you move&

“Well, it’s kinda gross, dontcha think, Kat?” Alfred groaned.
“Alfred, please! We’re all adults here, and we can act like such. Plus, I mean, if Kat so chooses to make a raunchy, sordid tale of pirates, that’s her choice. I’m not going to stand in her way!” Arthur exclaimed, finishing what was left in his teacup. “Although, I would enjoy another spot of tea. Alfred, if you’d be so kind?”
“Are you two done?”
A cannon blast echoed, rocking both Antonio and you to your cores.
Another blast - a distant sound, like that of the backfire of a truck - erupte

“Princess!” The door was forcefully opened, smashing against the wall with a hard thump.
Turning from the scene below, of guards scouring the grounds, you faced the king. His labored breathing made you question why he would dare to run to you. Yet, you knew the reason, you kept him alive. Two more guards stood within the doorway behind him.
“Yes, my King?” You asked with a gracious bow.
“Are you alright?” Yao asked, and walked surefooted towards you. He studied your face, the hollow and dead look of it, and knew something wasn’t right. “They haven’t found anyone below, but th
